In one line: the manufacturer who built your trailer warrants it, not us. What we do is identify the right programme, supply your proof of purchase, and help you open the claim.
The manufacturer that built it. Every brand we carry runs its own warranty programme, and the terms vary by brand, by model, and by whether the unit is new or used.
That is why you will not find a single warranty period published on this page. A structural frame warranty on a heavy equipment trailer and a component warranty on a light utility trailer are different products from different manufacturers with different terms. Publishing one blanket number across the whole catalogue would be inaccurate on most of it, and we would rather tell you the truth than a tidy number.
A used trailer may carry the remainder of a transferable manufacturer warranty, or it may carry none at all. It depends on the brand's rules and the age of the unit. The listing always states the condition, and if warranty status matters to your decision, call us before you order and we will find out for that specific trailer.
These are excluded by essentially every manufacturer, so it is worth knowing up front:
Our guide on what GVWR means on a trailer explains the rating that most overloading claims turn on.
Email sales@ironridgetrailersales.com with your order number, a description of the fault, and photographs. We will come back to you with the right manufacturer contact and the paperwork they need.
If the problem is that the trailer arrived damaged or defective, that is a return rather than a warranty claim, and it is covered on our returns and refunds page.
